Metallica se solidariza con Australia y dona $750 mil dólares

Como (creo) que todos sabemos, Australia está pasando en estos momentos por una de sus peores crisis ambientales, más de 200 focos activos de incendios forestales están acabando con gran parte de la flora y fauna y del país.

Por ello muchas personas, grupos, cantantes y actores se han unido para ayudar a la causa, entre ellos la banda de thrash metal, Metallica. Quien a través de sus redes sociales han confirmado una donación de $750 mil dólares al Servicio de Bomberos Rurales de Nueva Gales del Sur (NSW RFS) así como al Departamento de Bomberos del Estado de Victoria, una de las zonas más afectadas por las llamas.

The resulting destruction and devastating effects on all residents, animals, the environment and the incredible land in Australia is truly heartbreaking. Otros de los famosos que se unieron a la causa, fue Elton John, quien prometió casi 1 millón de euros el martes, P!nk, que dará casi medio millón a los bomberos australianos y Chris Hemsworth.
