La muy anticipada reedición del Álbum Blanco de The Beatles, (que en realidad se titula simplemente The Beatles) llegará el 9 de noviembre.
La colección tendrá demos no escuchados hasta ahora y sesiones de grabación. Llega casi exactamente 50 años después de su lanzamiento original. Aquí puedes ver un avance de lo que contendrá:
"El 18 de noviembre de 1968, millones de LPs dobles fueron enviados a las tiendas de discos de todo el mundo, antes del evento musical más importante del año: el lanzamiento de The Beatles el 22 de noviembre (después conocido como El Álbum Blanco)", dice un comunicado oficial. "Con su noveno álbum de estudio, los Beatles llevaron al mundo a un nuevo totalmente nuevo"... y ni cómo contradecirlos, la verdad.
Además del disco original, la colección incluye 27 versiones acústicas descartadas y 50 tomas de sesiones, la mayoría no publicadas hasta ahora.
Habrá varias versiones: la estándar, una de lujo con tres CDs, otra con cuatro LPs, y una edición de súper lujo con seis CDs, un Blu-ray con diferentes mixes y un libro de pasta dura. El paraíso de todo beatlemaniaco.
